We are thrilled to announce that the Abertawe Festival for Young Musicians is set to make its triumphant return to Swansea early next year.
With the stage set for a grand musical spectacle, we are now looking for talented musicians of all standards across South Wales to join us in February 2025.

With dedicated classes in piano, strings, brass, and woodwind, the Abertawe Festival for Young Musicians caters to a diverse range of instrumentalists. Whether you’re honing your basics or perfecting intricate compositions, this is your platform to shine.

From Grade 1 to Grade 8 and beyond, AFYM offers a comprehensive range of classes to cater to performers at various skill levels. This ensures that each participant finds the perfect challenge to fuel their musical journey.

We are excited to introduce a number of specialised classes on the 2025 syllabus, including British Composers, Women Composers, and our Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary performances.
