About Strings & Harp Concert

Own choice of any one or two pieces. A chance for the youngest students to give a performance in an encouraging and supportive environment. Any instrument as soloist, or in a duet with parent/teacher/ advanced student, or ensemble.

Entry Fee: £5.50 Book Now

Open to performers who are resident or receiving tuition in South Wales.
AFYM is open to amateurs only.

This is a non-competitive class, meaning that performers will be adjudicated and provided with detailed feedback, but no prizes will be awarded.

Festival Rules for String Performances:

Acceptance of the rules is a condition of entry.
Additional competitive and non-competitive classes for Strings can be found here.
Adjudicator copies must be provided for all classes.
Performers must provide their own accompanists.
Keyboard accompaniment must be included in the performance if it is included in the piece.
If numbers merit, harps will be separated into separate classes for each grade.
