We’re so excited to announce that the Abertawe Festival for Young Musicians will be returning to Swansea from 30th January – 1st February 2026. This year, we’re starting a little earlier than usual, which means entries will need to be in sooner than before. The closing date is 16th November 2025.
As always, there will be something for everyone: solo performances, duets, ensembles, competitive and non-competitive classes, with opportunities for all ages to share their music. There’s no limit to how many classes you can enter, so why not challenge yourself and see how many you can fit in?
We’re also delighted to introduce our new Two Pianos class! With one acoustic and one electric piano, this informal class is a chance to explore the wonderful two-piano repertoire, open to all ages, with supportive feedback along the way.
We are all woriing hard behind the scenes preparing another weekend full of music, encouragement and joy. We can’t wait to welcome you, your families and your friends, and to share in the wonderful performances that make AFYM such a special part of the year.
